The save that sent FC Cincinnati past the Chicago Fire in the US Open Cup. Second-division FC Cincinnati beat the Chicago Fire of MLS to advance to the quarterfinals of the US Open Cup. The two sides were tied 0-0 at the end of regulation. Mitch Hildebrandt came through during penalties, making three saves, including this one, which clinched the victory.

The Tim Tebow bonus. Tebow made his debut in the high-A Florida State League on Wednesday. In his first at-bat of the second game of a doubleheader, Tebow hit a home run, because of course he did. It was his fourth home run of the year,
